I'm currently brainstorming about the front cover to ATLAND #7 and realized I don't have a back cover. If you guys want a shot, post your potential back cover artwork for ATLAND here.

Book #8 is the Lily story arc with Ruprecht and the Zombilops.

Let's say one month from today. So June 19th is the deadline.

Post low res samples here. Final art should be 400dpi, RGB or CMYK, 6.875" wide by 10.5" tall. Photoshop PSD file or TIFF.

The chosen art will become the back cover for book #8, and will get credit in the book of course. By submitting your art, you understand that ATLAND is (C) Nate Piekos, and you are giving me the right to redistribute and display the art in any form for eternity. I will always credit the source, of course.

That makes absolutely no sense considering the OP.

How am I supposed to post art if it's immediately removed by the admin?

Maybe Nate was a little unclear in his wording, but I believe his intent is for you to do a drawing OF ATLAND that you intend to have considered for the back cover of the issue and post it here, that's why he mentioned what the story arc was about so that you might have a place to start from when thinking about what you want to draw.

Working on something. Would you mind if I just posted the link to it on DA when I'm done?

I think "DA" is Deviant Art.

Also, I thought it was a good call for Nate to delete that guy's post. When I saw it (before it was deleted) I immediately thought "what the heck? This guy's posting images of Hellboy and Magento for the back cover an Atland comic?" So I think it was a good call. Just my two cents.

Here's mine...Lily and Zombilops. Time: 4 hours.
Kinda plain and dark around the middle, though.
If any changes happen I'll update the image. Maybe I'll add the frog.

I was waiting for this and guess what - perfect timing as usual...i've got exams in a week

we'll...i'll try do something tonight...concept sketches and the lot - one month should be fine anyway

(ps. nate - did *i* somehow remind you about the back cover when they were discussing the angry berzerker and i said it was my idea to use him in a contest? :P)
